MACT Paraprofessional —  in Glendive

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Glendive, Montana is seeking a full time MACT Paraprofessional. This position is member of the MACT multidisciplinary team who will assist a multi-disciplinary MACT team to serve clients who have a diagnosed SDMI. Salary: $$14.25-$17/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Help clients develop a personal treatment plan
• Identify opportunities to provide support as clients work to achieve their recovery goals
• Assist clients with daily living functions in their home and in the community
• Meet with treatment team to develop effective support system, outreach and follow-up, and medication delivery
• Assist clients in menu planning, grocery shopping, socialization skills, personal hygiene skills, and housekeeping skills including doing laundry (client’s responsibility with verbal assistance from the paraprofessional)
• Maintains required paperwork for assigned clients in accordance with EMCMHC policies and best practices
• Must be willing to work rotating weekdays and weekends
EDUCTION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• High school graduation or equivalent
• Two years’ experience preferred
• Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), CPR, and First Aid training provided.
• Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
• Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per EMCMHC’s policies.
• Montana Driver’s License with good driving record – required to transport clients while on work duty
• Must complete Credible EHR functionality and overview training within the first month of employment and maintain Certification throughout employment

Prevention Specialists —  in Miles City Office

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center is now hiring a full time Prevention Specialist to work out of the Miles City office. This position will provide environmental prevention services at a community level through evidence based practices for underage drinking and prescription drug abuse and misuse. Individuals will be responsible for developing, implementing and monitoring projects related to substance abuse prevention education and networking in our service area. Travel required. Certified Peer Support Specialist —  in Glendive

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City, Montana is seeking a full time MACT Certified Peer Support Specialist in Glendive. The Peer Specialist is a member of a multidisciplinary team and is or has been a recipient of mental health services for severe and persistent mental illness. Because of life experience with mental illness and mental health services, the Peer Specialist provides expertise that professional training cannot replicate. Peer Specialists are fully integrated team members who provide highly individualized services in the community and promote client self-determination and decision making. The Peer Specialist is responsible for the delivery of Peer Support services in an outpatient and community-based setting for adults with severe mental illness. The Peer Specialist embraces, develops, and implements recovery-based principles with consumers, staff, EMCMHC, and the community. CSCT (School Based) CLINICAL THERAPIST —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center is seeking a full time, school based mental health therapist in the Miles City School District. This position is responsible for providing mental health counseling to youth, adults, and groups in a rural school based mental health setting, conducting diagnostic interviews/assessments, and providing crisis intervention. Licensure preferred, but would consider Practitioner In Training. RESPONSIBILITIES

• Visiting with school staff concerned about safety of school due to behavior of youth in their classes;
• Working with transitioning youth by assisting with coordinating of services necessary for their success;
• Assist teachers in maintaining safe, well run classrooms by teaching coping skills to struggling students or removing them from the classroom

QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s Degree required in Social Work or related field,
• PLUS one (1) year of demonstrated work experience in the mental health field;

Chemical Dependency Program Director —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City, Montana is seeking a Licensed Addiction Counselor, preferably with a Master’s Degree, to perform services involving the development, organization, coordination, implementation of counseling and education services, and the supervision of the EMCMHC chemical dependency program. Work varies requiring individual judgment and decisions in conformance to the State of Montana Addictive and Mental Disorders Division rules and regulations.

Under general direction, this person is responsible for providing mental health counseling to youth and to their families, based upon mental health assessments, in the home environment. Work requires individual judgment within established policies, rules, and the client’s individual treatment plan.

Customer Service Representative —  in Glasgow, MT

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center is seeking a part-time customer service Representative. This person would be responsible for answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting clients with the admissions process, maintaining electronic health records and maintaining confidentiality. Must have working knowledge of Montana Medicaid, Insurance and Sliding Fee. Salary: $14.25 – $16/hr. DOE

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides peer counseling and support by drawing on common experiences as a peer to validate clients’ experiences and provide guidance and encouragement to clients to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery.
• Serves as a mentor to clients to promote hope and empowerment for themselves
• Advocates to the entire PACT team from a mental health consumer perspective concerning clients’ experiences regarding symptoms of mental illness, clients’ attitudes and opinions of treatment and experiences of recovery.
• Suggests appropriate changes in treatment plans to ensure immediate and appropriate interventions are provided in response to changes in clients’ mental status or behaviors that put clients at risk
• Provides work-related supportive services such as assistance securing necessary clothing and grooming supplies, wake-up calls, transportation, etc.

• Certified Behavioral Health Peer Support Specialist (CBHPSS) designation
• One years’ experience working in the mental health field preferred

Residential Aides —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center is now hiring Residential Aides for the Miles City Group Homes. Full, part-time, and On-Call positions available.

Residential Aides are responsible for the evening and weekend oversight of clients at EMCMHC group homes. Residential Aides will assist in maintaining a safe “Home Like” environment for residents. Candidate must possess people skills and the ability to work with those suffering severe mental illness. Starts at $15.25-$17/hour. ($2/hour pay differential for weekend shifts.)

REQUIREMENTS:
• Bachelor’s degree preferred; or equivalent combination of education and experience in the public or mental health fields;
• Must have computer skills.
