MACT Therapist —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center  in Miles City, Montana is seeking a full time MACT Therapist. This member of the MACT multidisciplinary team has training in social work, psychology or education and clinical skills to provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services to program clients with severe and disabling mental illnesses under the clinical supervision of the team leader. Functions as a clinical member of the multidisciplinary team and provides treatment rehabilitation and support services. Salary: $22-$26/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide direct clinical services to clients on an individual, group, and family basis in the office and in the community settings to teach behavioral symptom- management techniques to alleviate and manage symptoms not reduced with medication and to promote personal growth and development by assisting clients to adapt to and cope with internal and external stressors.
• Provide case management for an assigned group of clients including coordinating and monitoring the activities of the individual treatment team; assume secondary responsibility for developing, writing, implementing, evaluating and revising overall treatment goals and plans in conjunction with ITT; ensuring immediate changes are made in the treatment plans as clients ’needs change; educate and support clients’ families, and advocate for clients’ rights and preferences.
• Assess the needs of a client and contribute to written assessments that describe levels of functioning for the client in a number of specific areas.
• Act as liaison and consult with community agencies and families to maintain coordination in the treatment process.
• Provide on-call crisis intervention covering nighttime hours and serve as a backup to evening and weekend staff.
• Complete timely documentation of client progress towards goals and client activity utilizing an established electronic medical records system. Complete all required paperwork in compliance with the VA contract, state standards, and EMCMHC Policies and Procedures.

EDUCTION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Must possess at least a Master’s degree in Social Work, Counseling, Psychology or a related field
• One year of progressively responsible post graduate experience in a community mental health center or similar setting preferred
• Have thorough knowledge of mental illness; knowledge of the dynamics of human behavior and social relationships; knowledge of theory and techniques, personnel and program management, and assessment of community needs.
• Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention) training provided by EMCMHC
• Ability to pass background check and driver’s license check upon offer of employment.
• Provide proof of auto liability insurance coverage per EMCMHC’s policies.
• Driver’s License with good driving record if required to transport clients while on work duty and
• Must complete Credible EHR functionality and overview training within the first month of employment and maintain Certification throughout employment.

MACT Nurse —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center  in Miles City, Montana is seeking a MACT Nurse. This member of the MACT multidisciplinary team is responsible for conducting assessments of client needs in the area of psychiatric and physical health and making appropriate referrals in the community to other health care providers. Provide management and administration of medication in conjunction with the prescriber. Provide a range of treatment, rehabilitation, and support services and sharing shift‐management responsibility with other staff. On-call rotation for Crisis Stabilization. Would consider contractual employment agreement. Salary: $24-$34/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide treatment, rehabilitation, and support services for an assigned group of clients.
• Involvement in the assessment and treatment planning process of the MACT nurse and will be responsible for carrying out duties of the nurse in certain areas of the treatment plan. Will assure that assessment is completed for clients.
• Perform shift management in coordination with MACT Team leader and APRN/Psychiatrist.
• Document client progress to maintain records of the client activity according to established methods and procedures and maintain client and employee confidentiality
• Participate in daily staff meetings, treatment planning reviews, and other meetings that may be scheduled by Team Leader.
• Under the direction of the team APRN and in collaboration with other MACT nurses develop, revise, maintain, and supervise team psychopharmacologic and medical treatment and medications policies and procedures including transcribing, administering, evaluating, and recording psychotropic medications prescribed by the team prescriber. Will collaborate with other nurses on the team to organize and manage the system of getting medication to the clients and assuring this is completed in a timely fashion. Manage pharmaceuticals and medical supplies.
• Assist in scheduling and coordinating client care as it relates to the physical health of all clients on the MACT team.

EDUCTION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Master’s, Bachelor’s or Associate’s degree in nursing, must be licensed as a LPN or RN
• One year of work experience in an inpatient or outpatient psychiatric setting preferred
• Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), CPR, and First Aid training provided.

MACT Certified Peer Support Specialist —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City, Montana is seeking a full time MACT Certified Peer Support Specialist. The Peer Specialist is a member of a multidisciplinary team and is or has been a recipient of mental health services for severe and persistent mental illness. Because of life experience with mental illness and mental health services, the Peer Specialist provides expertise that professional training cannot replicate. Peer Specialists are fully integrated team members who provide highly individualized services in the community and promote client self-determination and decision making. The Peer Specialist is responsible for the delivery of Peer Support services in an outpatient and community-based setting for adults with severe mental illness. The Peer Specialist embraces, develops, and implements recovery-based principles with consumers, staff, EMCMHC, and the community. Acts as a positive role model through good work ethic, fairness, flexibility, and commitment to appropriate and direct communications; demonstrates energy and enthusiasm for EMCMHC’s mission and vision. Salary: $13-$16/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides peer counseling and support by drawing on common experiences as a peer to validate clients’ experiences and provide guidance and encouragement to clients to take responsibility and actively participate in their own recovery.
• Serves as a mentor to clients to promote hope and empowerment for themselves
• Advocates to the entire PACT team from a mental health consumer perspective concerning clients’ experiences regarding symptoms of mental illness, clients’ attitudes and opinions of treatment and experiences of recovery.
• Suggests appropriate changes in treatment plans to ensure immediate and appropriate interventions are provided in response to changes in clients’ mental status or behaviors that put clients at risk
• Provides work-related supportive services such as assistance securing necessary clothing and grooming supplies, wake-up calls, transportation, etc.

EDUCTION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
• Certified Behavioral Health Peer Support Specialist (CBHPSS) designation
• One years’ experience working in the mental health field preferred
• Completion of CPI (Crisis Prevention Intervention), CPR, and First Aid training provided.

MACT Administrative Assistant I —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City, Montana is seeking a full time MACT Administrative Assistant I. The Administrative Assistant is a support member of the EMCMHC facility. This includes providing receptionist duties including triaging of phone calls, coordinating communication between the providers, administration, and clients, and assisting clients, their families, and other agencies to obtain answers to questions. Maintains accounting and budgeting records for clients and program expenditures and operates and coordinates EMCMHC’s management information system. Exhibits good work ethic, fairness, flexibility, and commitment to appropriate and direct communications; demonstrates a commitment to EMCMHC’s mission and vision. Salary: $13.50-$15/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Enters and completes data entry for clients of the MACT Team.
• Preparation and management of schedules for MACT provider and clinician in coordination with organization policies and procedures.
• Records admissions and discharges to provide a source of information for statistical reports.
• Manage weekly medication clinics according to EMCMHC policies and procedures and assist in any customer service and care needs during clinic hours. Assist with client care and clinic processes as needed.
• Maintains client clinical charts according to EMCMHC’s and State’s standards including the following: Set-up charts for newly admitted clients; maintain clinical record in the EHR in a timely fashion to assure current, accurate information is available and monitor clinical charts in coordination with the Team Lead to assure they are being maintained in accordance with unit policies and procedures.

EDUCTION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS 
• High school diploma
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree in human services or business/office management preferred.
• Minimum of one year of office and clerical experience with experience in a health care setting preferred.

MACT Paraprofessional —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City, Montana is seeking a full time MACT Paraprofessional. This position is member of the MACT multidisciplinary team who will assist a multi-disciplinary MACT team to serve clients who have a diagnosed SDMI. Salary: $13-$16/hr.

RESPONSIBILITIES 
• Help clients develop a personal treatment plan
• Identify opportunities to provide support as clients work to achieve their recovery goals
• Assist clients with daily living functions in their home and in the community
• Meet with treatment team to develop effective support system, outreach and follow-up, and medication delivery
• Assist clients in menu planning, grocery shopping, socialization skills, personal hygiene skills, and housekeeping skills including doing laundry (client’s responsibility with verbal assistance from the paraprofessional)
• Maintains required paperwork for assigned clients in accordance with EMCMHC policies and best practices
• Must be willing to work rotating weekdays and weekends

Peer Support Specialist —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center now hiring a Recovery Coach in Custer County.
This position is a full time hourly position with flexible days and hours to meet client needs. The candidates should identify as being in long term stable recovery from a mental health, substance use or addiction diagnosis.
Previous experience in peer support is not required but the ability to share your recovery story as an inspiration to others is. Extensive training is provided. Clinical Therapist — in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City, Montana is seeking a full time experienced licensed mental health therapist. Licensure preferred, but will consider Practitioners in Training. This position is responsible for providing mental health counseling and therapy to individuals of all ages, conducting diagnostic interviews/assessments, and providing crisis intervention. Relocation assistance available. ***EMCMHC is a member of the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program.

RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provides mental health counseling/therapy to individuals, couples, and families of all ages and diagnoses;
• Conducts diagnostic interviews/therapy with new clients;
• Provides crisis intervention during working hours, or when scheduled, or as needed;
• Maintains progress notes, treatment plans, and other records in accordance with EMCMHC policy while maintaining confidentiality requirements for patient privacy (i.e. HIPAA);
• May facilitate and fulfill Drug Treatment Court obligations, both scheduled or non-scheduled;
• Meets productivity standards to the best of ability, documents client contacts, care coordination, crisis/consult contacts, and community contacts, while maintaining a professional and ethical level of conduct according to standards of practice, EMCMHC policies, and state and federal policies;
• Attends staff meetings and peer reviews, team service and coordination meetings, in-service trainings and outside service training as provided.
• Travel to satellite offices as needed

QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s Degree required in Social Work or related field,
• Possess Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor – LCPC. $47,500.00 /year
