Outpatient Mental Health Therapist (on-site, not tele) —  in Miles City

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center in Miles City, Montana is seeking a full time experienced Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor – LCPC. This person is responsible for providing mental health counseling and therapy to individuals of all ages, conducting diagnostic interviews/assessments and providing crisis intervention as needed. Work requires individual judgment within established polices, rules, and the client’s individual treatment plan.  ***EMCMHC is a member of the National Health Service Corps Loan Repayment Program. Salary: $72,500/yr; after 5 consecutive years with this agency: $82,500/yr

MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY AND PERFORMANCE:
• Provides mental health counseling/therapy to individuals, couples, and families of all ages and diagnoses;
• Conducts diagnostic interviews/therapy with new clients;
• Provides crisis intervention during working hours, or when scheduled, or as needed;
• Maintains progress notes, treatment plans, and other records in accordance with EMCMHC policy while maintaining confidentiality requirements for patient privacy

QUALIFICATIONS
• Master’s Degree required in Social Work or related field;
• Will consider applicants with Master’s degrees who are in need of supervision;
• Possess Licensed Clinical Social Worker – LCSW or Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor – LCPC Certification, or ability to obtain such License or Certification within two (2) years of employment;

Customer Service Representative —  in Glasgow, MT

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center is seeking a part-time Customer Service Representative. This position offers a flexible schedule with a minimum of 20 hours per week and the potential to transition to full-time employment if desired. Responsibilities include answering phones, scheduling appointments, assisting clients with the admissions process, maintaining electronic health records, and ensuring strict confidentiality. Applicants must have a working knowledge of Montana Medicaid, insurance processes, and sliding fee scales. Salary: $16.50/hr. – $17.50/hr

EDUCATION, TRAINING, AND EXPERIENCE:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
• Must be a minimum of 18 years of age
• High School Diploma or GED preferred
• Must have ability to communicate orally and in writing
• Work is generally performed in an office
• Possess typing and computer skills
• One (1) year of demonstrated work experience in an office setting
• Must complete Credible EHR functionality and overview training within the first month of employment and maintain certification throughout employment
• Must possess Certification to enter SAMS records
• Must possess a valid Montana Operator’s License (If your own personal vehicle is used to transport any client, your vehicle must have insurance that will cover passengers)
• Physical requirements may require lifting up to 35 pounds (greater with assistance), bending, stooping, climbing steps, and prolonged sitting

Behavioral Health Case Manager —  in Miles City, MT

Eastern Montana Community Mental Health Center is seeking a full-time, on-site (Miles City) Behavioral Health Case Manager to join our dynamic multidisciplinary team of therapists, psychiatrists, nurses, paraprofessionals, and peer support specialists. In this role, you will play a vital part in helping individuals with mental health and/or substance use disorders achieve lasting wellness and independence. You’ll assess client needs, create personalized care plans, and connect them to essential community resources and healthcare services—serving as a key link in their recovery journey.
SALARY: $36,500 – $44,000 per year (DOE) This position offers a comprehensive benefits package, including Blue Cross Blue Shield health coverage, participation in the FLEX program, paid vacation, sick leave, holidays, retirement plan options, and eligibility for student loan forgiveness”.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
● Client Assessment: Conduct thorough evaluations of clients’ physical, mental, emotional, and social needs, including substance use, preferences, and capabilities.
● Care Planning: Design, implement, and monitor individualized treatment and recovery plans in collaboration with clients, families, and providers.
● Resource Coordination: Facilitate access to critical resources such as housing, vocational training, therapy, medical care, and support groups.
● Advocacy: Champion clients’ rights and ensure they receive timely, comprehensive, and appropriate care.
● Support & Counseling: Offer supportive counseling, problem-solving strategies, and crisis intervention when needed.
● Documentation: Maintain accurate, detailed, and up-to-date case records.
● Collaboration: Work closely with healthcare providers, social workers, and other professionals as part of a multidisciplinary team.
● Progress Monitoring: Regularly review client progress and adjust care plans to optimize outcomes.

EXAMPLES OF PERFORMANCE CRITERIA, AND EXPECTATIONS:
● Must be skilled in organizing daily work schedule and time so that each client is given the time that is needed;
● Must be skilled in listening and assisting the client in formulating goals and behaviors that will direct them toward their goals and behaviors;
● Must develop a working knowledge of residential care resources and how they may best address the idiosyncratic needs of specific clients;
● Shall meet all billing requirements set by EMCMHC;
● Shall comply with all state regulations pertaining to record keeping and documentation of services provided;
